Any FLORIDA Excelsior lpn-rn students? I have a ? for you!

If you are in the LPN-RN program, does FL accept this college as an approved college? I was looking on the FL BON and I can't find Excelsior listed anywhere as an "approved" college. Am I missing something? Do they go by another name by chance? Here is the link I was looking at http://www.doh.state.fl.us/mqa/nursing/lst_trainingprograms.pdf

Yes, the Florida Board of nursing accepts Excelsior.....provided you were an LPN when you started the program. I am a Florida resident and I graduated from Excelsior in March, and passed NCLEX in April. I have nothing but great things to say about Excelsior ! I am now enrolled in their BSN program.

I concur with the above poster. Florida accepts Excelsior only if you are already a practicing LPN. A coworker of mine just passed her RN boards after finishing with Excelsior.
