Beside the school ....how about money ... After financial Aid ..... WIA .... and ????... for LPN program .. Do you have any extra money ????.. I am unempld. so worry about money a little .... Any ideas ???

Financial aid will vary on the types (grants, loans, scholorships) and that determines how much u are approved for and of course your EFC from the Fasfa. Also, I am unemplyed as well, and have been for four months, just started school this month but I am making it. I did move to a smaller apartment to save on rent and my car is paid off, so that helps. My advice is to create a budget, and try to stick to it, include everthing in there to make sure u plan well, and plan for the worst. Also try to contribute some amount to savings, even if its just $10.00 a week or bi-weekly. Also, bring your lunch to school, dont be tempted to eat out with some of the other classmates. trust me, its tempting.

I'm also unemployed. I've had a few meltdowns over whether or not I can do it all but ultimately this is my dream and I *WILL* achieve it!!!

I get food stamps and I'm applying for a daycare scholarship for my son. WIA isn't paying anything this semester because they only pay after financial aid pays and I qualified for a good amount. I'll use what is left over to pay for my son's daycare until the scholarship kicks in.

I am also planning on bringing my lunch to save money. I have a case of water in my van and I have a personal coffee pot to make my coffee before I leave the house. I eat dinner at my parents a few times a week.

I'm planning on paying off my van when I get my income tax refund back, that will be an extra $400 a month in my pocket. I already split living expenses with my brother so I've cut back as much as I can there. I'm hoping that my daughters' father will step up and start contributing sometime this year.

I'm blessed to have a great father who will help me when I need it. I hate asking him but I know that this is setting me up to never have to ask him for help again.

thank you for all advise. I still scare. hehehehe.... and same here no job for me too. rite now I am at home take care my son and if I go to school (ft) do they will paid for my child in day-care ???/ The class will strt in April,10 .... I understand it hard to step in LPN ....but $ is still ....importand .. I really don't know wht to do. thank you all

I too am unemployed and struggle with money after buying everything needed for school... I have been trying to look for a job on the weekend but have been unsuccessful because it seems that alot of places are not hiring and especially just for weekend positions only.

We can all struggle together...
