I need to think of a name for my quality improvement project and I am not as creative as some people, so any ideas?
I am doing it on invasive line care. The care is not being documented routinely and the dressing are not being labeled.
Also, during the implementation phase, we are to do something to encourage the nurses to change, so I need an idea for that too.
We all know candy and food is persuasive and I've seen in the past people use "Be a lifesaver" and put out lifesaver candies in a bucket. I've also seen "Raise the bar" and little candy bars in a bucket. Then usually there are posters put up to remind the nurses.
Any suggestions?

You can get M&Ms custom printed now, maybe that could be useful? I forget the web site, just Google it. Good luck!

How about naming your campaign "I DOC the line" ??

"Dont let your behind become mine - label that line!"
"Label that line, Document your care. If you dont, how will you fare?" (and perhaps a reward system for when people document and label lines correctly)
"Dont leave work behind, label that line"
Thats about as creative as my mind will be right now!!
Also:
Can you hand out new pens and maybe get a label maker and paste your slogan onto it??
Good luck :)

The print shop or whoever special orders printed paper goods for your hospital or facility could order pens with slogans on them. Nurses always like a good pen. If you chose one that was comparable to what they like to use they may just use it long enough to start remembering.

For dressing changes: "Time to Change"
For documentation: "how about a DATE?"
Instead of MORE CHOCOLATE....
How about asking the vendors of companies who make central lines to cater a nice luncheon complete with some handy gadgets to take home???
BARD, ABBOTT, etc???? just an idea.....

You're the winner!
I love both of these.
Ok, I haven't been watching much TV or movies lately, but are you putting a twist on "Walk the Line"?
I love all these ideas.
Oh, duh! I was just about to ask what you meant by this, but it came to me!
Ok, I'm gonna use all these in my project. Now I just need to plan an inservice and gather my data.
Thanks you guys!

Yep, I was thinking of Johnny Cash.

There's several clips on Youtube of Johnny C singing "I Walk the Line".
Here's one:

Or you could rent the DVD of the recent "Walk the Line" movie and show the clip with Joaquim Phoenix singing it.
