Any charge nurses or nursing managers?

Published

Hi!

I am a senior nursing student graduating with a BSN this coming December 15'. I am currently taking a Leadership class that requires us to interview a nursing leader/manager. If anybody has any free time out of your very busy lives..please help! Leave your email and I will be sure to message you the details. It shouldn't take long, just a few questions. Thank you so very much..and I appreciate the time you took to help me! -hugs-

Specializes in Complex pedi to LTC/SA & now a manager.

Good luck. It's not a wise choice to post a personal email address on an internationally read public forum. How will you verify the poster is even a nurse?

Trust me there are a few less than truthful individuals that post on these forums for personal entertainment. Most end up outing themselves).

Have you tried inquiring at clinical sites or the nursing education department of your local hospital? Perhaps the DoN at a local LTC or county health department? Clinical supervisor at a home health or private duty nursing agency? ( I know my clinical managers are always willing to help students with interviews. Most were PICU or NICU nurses (one was a pediatric LTC unit manager) before transitioning to clinical manager in pediatric home health. )

offer to take the manager out for coffee in exchange for a face to face interview. You may be surprised at what you learn!

Thank you so much for the advice!!! í ½í¸
