Any advice re: expiration of IELTS to Canada prior to application of eligibility to t

Published

Good Day,

My IELTS exam results will be due this coming fourth week of November(after 2 years), while I am planning to apply in the province of Manitoba for the eligibilty... will it be advisable to send my application now and send the IELTS results for it not to expire? or do I have to take the IELTS again?

Many Thanks,

If the exam is due to expire in Nov and it is only a week away I wouldn't be surprised if the province will expect you to have a more up to date one. May want to consider sitting it again

But just a heads up to anyone else that is reading this:

When one is applying to any country that requires an English exam, the results must be valid for the time until the licensure or immigration is obtained; getting something submitted just before it expires will not work anywhere.

This is one of the reasons that Canada is wanting only a year on the exam to permit time to get licensure and immigration handled.

Best of luck to all of you.
