Anxiously Waiting

Hello There! This is my first post so bare with me :)

I passed my Entrance Exam for the LPN program in November. Now im just waiting on the interview process. I'm anxiously waiting for that day to come. The original start month for school was March..but due to the number of students that had applied that had to post pone the class until July.

I read posts all the time on allnurses.com and i just want to get started with school already. I am currently a CNA and im around nurses alot but i want to be on the other side already.

Does the interview process mean that i'm going to be enrolled in school? Since i did pass the test and working on getting transcripts and shot records and references does that mean im excpeted? Though i haven't had my interview yet and there is no date available yet..should i buy some stuff for school?

Please help me! I'm going insane with the waiting game :):redbeathe

Well just to update:

I have a interview April 26th hopefully that goes well

Congrats on your interview. Hopefully you'll know something at the conclusion and then can start planning. I know a wait that long would absolutely make me crazy... let us know how it goes.

OMG yes it is a very long wait..and that would be totally awesome if at the end of the interview they determine if im in or not..i will JUMP for joy haha

Well today is the day after your interview date! I hope it went well! I know with mine, the interview was so short. She said that I "answered the questions perfectly, but cannot guarantee that I'm in". It took another month for me to find out that i was accepted. Waiting only gets worse every day! I'll be looking forward to congratulate you on your acceptance! good luck!

That's pretty much how mine went...it was basic questions. I was the only one who dressed up. I had two women interview me and they said that they were really impressed with my answers and that they believe that im a very good candidate for the program. Crossing fingers i get in. They both said they will recommend me.

Congrats on your awesome news! I can't wait until we are all in school and can be the actual nursing students asking for help from each other! :)

It is! Well two days later i found out but those were the LONGEST two days to me lol

i should post a thread..anxioiusly waiting to start school..and to buy my supplies lol
