Im gettin nervous once again. I'm retaking the Teas in less then 2 weeks. You'd think I wouldn't be so nervous since I've already taken it, BUT I AM!!! I didnt do all that bad my first try, but def. not the score I wanted. That combined with my Microbiology lecture exam and Poli Sci exam the following week is killlllling me.
And just to think, this is only the beginning

you think you got it worse than me: I've never taken TEAS. I don't know what's going to be on it and I haven't prepared for it. I have to take the TEAS this Saturday. To take the TEAS, I have to drive four hours from my house. Meaning I'd have to leave at 2 AM to get there around 7AM. The exam starts at 8AM. I might even have to leave early considering the snow blizzard that's brewing in this area (we got a foot of snow already today and more is expected as the weekend comes).
That's not even the worst part. I have organic chemistry exam tomorrow, anatomy/physiology II exam and a psychology exam on Thursday. So within 2 days, I have 3 major exams. All of them right before the TEAS that I'm taking the first time.
Will all of that in my hands, I'm on here wasting time. Anyways, now do you feel better? Sometimes you think you have it the worst but there's always going to be someone who's in even worse situation. I hope this makes you feel better.
By the way, since you've already taken the TEAS, what should I expect on it? Material wise...

You seem to have nothing going on Friday night ... what you should do instead is go there the night before and invest in a cheap hotel stay. I would never take a test like that just after a long drive.
That's what I was thinking but right now, I go to school full-time and I don't work so I don't have money. The cheapest room I found was in a sleazy motel that wanted $70 a night incl. taxes.
As of now, I'm thinking about just driving there on Friday, sleep in my car for the night and then find YMCA in the morning to take shower and get ready. Otherwise I'll just have to go into the testing without showering.
Anyone have any other bright ideas?

Sleeping in your car was my other suggestion. Even if you get there 4-5 hours before the test. If you take a shower before you head out, you should be OK. I don't expect you'd be THAT funky for the test. ... Bring some deodorant and some wipes for a quick touch-up. And a SMALL cup of coffee beforehand should get you through the TEAS. And I expect once you get back home you're going to CRASH. If not, you better plan on it! Good luck on that test!
Of course I know I dont have the HARDEST situation out there, but i still am stressing!
Goodluck on your tests A&P shouldn't be too hard!
My advice for the teas.
You have to spend your time studying on the portions that you have trouble with the most. Although you dont know exactly what is on the test you should know what subjects are your strong ones and which are your weaker ones.
Here is a break down that came from my test results
TEAS: Reading - (40 Items)
Paragraph Comprehension
Passage Comprehension
Inferences and Conclusions
TEAS: Math - (45 Items)
Whole Numbers
Fractions and Decimals
Percentages
Ratio and Proportion
Metric Conversions
Algebraic Application
Data Interpretation
TEAS: Science - (30 Items)
Scientific Reasoning
General Science
Life Science
Chemical Science
Physical Science
Human Body Science
TEAS: English - (55 Items)
Punctuation
Grammar
Sentence Structure
Contextual Words
Spelling
The reading portion is extremely easy if English is your first language and you can follow directions. Math was easy for me, what i remember is that there were aloooot of fraction problems as well as simple things like adding 4+ decimal numbers. The science is rather random, i struggled mostly on the life science questions just because they were a little out there for me. The hardest part for the English section for me was punctuation. But then again I've always be HORRIBLE at punctuation. You can probably see all the mistakes in this paragraph haha.
I didn't run out of time and thought the test was easier then expected. Goodluck to you! make sure you eat before you take the test because i ate a small breakfast and by the end of the test my stomach was rumbling soooo loud :/
