I have been accepted to Angelo State's FNP program for the Fall of 2017.
I wanted to start this post to see if anyone else on here will be starting in the fall as well as find students already in the program for some feedback!

I was accepted as well. I live in North Dallas.
Me too! Are you planning on being a full time student?
I plan on it. I will still be working full time so I will see how it works out. And you?
Same here, from what I was told by the advisor, it should be feasible to work full time and take classes full time at least for this first semester! I do plan on going part time at work eventually.
By the way, I am unable to private message on here since I haven't been that active but we should email before classes start! It would be nice to know someone that is starting the program at the same time. :)

I'm planning on applying to both Angelo State and Texas State for their MSN-FNP programs for 2018. Can anyone tell me how long Angelo State takes to complete this program? On their website, the degree program doesn't really list out the schedule other than all of the classes you'll take for the entire thing but I'd like an idea of what the school schedule will be like (how many classes you take in the semester, etc) and how many months to complete. Any info would be very helpful, thanks!

I am going to apply now, not sure when I can start I am dreading re-submitting all my information again. I had accepted enrollment into UT Arlington's Post MSN FNP Program, but they told me yesterday they will not accept financial aid for the Post MSN FNP, which was one of the first questions I asked and was told yes, which is why I applied. Hopefully I dodging a bullet they have horrible communication.
Anyways I was so excited to get started on my FNP Certificate and find and In-State Texas program, and now to find out I am not able to go because I am not able to pay for it without financial aid. I am glad I can still apply to this program fingers crossed.
