ANCC Family NP exam

Published

Help requested...I am taking the ANCC FNP exam in August and am extremely nervous because I did not pass the AANP exam on the first try. Has anyone taken the exam recently?

Any advice welcome.

Google the site. Lots of people have taken the ANCC exam recently and have also shared how they studied for the exam and what helped them the most. I know it's easier said than done..:). ....but try to calm yourself down by using whatever AANP gave you to see your weakest areas and start from there. One of the reviewers said that the easiest way to overcome anxiety is to study and know the content. That boosts your confidence. All the best, and pls let us know how you did....:)

Dear Melly1,

I wish you all the best as you embark on taking the ANCC exam. I have such test anxiety and ICURN7 makes a great point as studying for your weak areas and really know the content. Thankfully, the university for which I am enrolled prepares us through the exams. They have allowed me to study harder and better to retain the information when test time comes around….I guess you can also attribute this in your practice as well as you counsel your patients. Got to know your stuff….

I have yet to complete my MSN this coming january but hope to enroll in a prep course.

Yes, please keep us posted…Good luck!!
