Anatomy bad news

I'm usually a straight A student for the most part, a few B's here and there.

I got my midterm back today in anatomy and I got a D...

We've had 4 other tests, all of which I've managed B's on while going to school full time in the daytime and doing a 20hr/wk CNA program at night, as well as helping direct/choreographing/and staring in a play.

So out of the first 400 pts of exams, I had about an 87%. Now I have a 78% percent.

Now my CNA class is over and so is my play, so I have more time to study for this class, but I'm still really bummed.

I already know what I need to work on for my tests, not cramming is a major part of it, and since I was in a major crunch for time before I ended up cramming a lot. And the essays... I didn't realize how hard of a grader he was. Out of 3 essays, 30pts total... I got 8.5. I'm pretty sure I know how to do better next time.

I'm just really worried now as I've pretty much blew my chances at getting an A in the class. I think a B is acceptable, but a C is definately not.

I just need encouragement and any advice anyone has to offer

thanks.

how many more exams/points are offered? try to determine what you need to do in order to get that letter jump. you are not far off from a b so, it's very doable.

anatomy is one of those classes that will always remain "all or nothing". it's time consuming and very difficult to get through. just remember that this is only a few more weeks out of your life. then you can dust off your hands and celebrate that it's over! lol ....i did :)

I know, thanks. I have calculated.. there are about 700 more points left to the class. 300 of it are lab exams which I'm pretty good at. But the other 400 pts are from the next midterm and the final... which are the really tough exams because my instructor doesn't give you a clue to what he will ask, and the test is totally random. It's not just me complaining though, everyone in my class thinks so. I'm not complaining either, I'm just saying, that is why I'm scared.

I figure out of the 700 points left i have about 130 to spare for a B. I'm a little worried considering how much is left for the midterm/final.

mm. I'm just stressed. :banghead:
