I was wondering, since I am 52 yrs old and will be graduating with my BSN in 2 yrs, what job prospects might I find for a male nurse my age?

A lot of new younger Nurses start out in Psych just to get their Proverbial Foot in the Door, pad. No Reason you can't either.

Any Past Experience in a Similar Area could be an Asset.

Psych Nuring isn't any Easier than multiple other areas of Nursing, but Psych Nursing USUALLY isn't as Medically Intense.

Best part about being older new nurse??? Patients think you've been doing this all your life. I just don't talk about how many years I've been nursing --- Grad at 50 - nurse for 2yr. Walk with confidence, do your best, learn as much as possible --- you will be fine.
