Hi guys any idea im studying right now nursing as an external student in Charles Darwin University Australia..but after i graduate im planning to take NCLEX ,since im studying nursing externally not on campus,would it be consider?will it make hindrance in getting NCLEX exam?thank you

OK SO will you be doing both clinical and theory hours? The US may require physical presence in school but really best answer would be asking the state BON.

Be aware that an Australian nursing degree does not meet the requirements to be a BSN RN in the US, generally additional bridging courses are required

hi..did you got any answer?i ring them few months ago but still haven't got the answer..and what i have read from some thread here that in the future if we want to take nclex we will have deficient in OB,paeds theory and clinical, since Deakin already stopped the course..

I have met a few nurses who dos meet the criteria for BSN-RN with just an undergraduate degree. Did have to sit NCLEX. They all had quite a bit of experience though. I'm unsure if they did distance but I'm unsure if it would matter. None of them enjoyed working in the US though.
