Just took NCLEX RN for the second time and got all the way to 265 AGAIN. Tried the PVT and went to the credit card page. I've been rechecking like crazy that maybe it would change. I'll be getting the quick results tomorrow maybe. I'm so lost, I don't know what to do. I failed for the second time, I have no job, no money, no experience, my mother refuses to support me after this and even told me that even if I take it for a third time it makes no difference I will still fail. It's so hurtful. I've been depressed for months since my 1st take and all the disappointment and failures make me want to kill myself. Any advise on where to go from here? I feel like all my dreams are on hold and I have no where to go.

Do not despair and do not give up. You work so hard in nursing school so that YOU can become a nurse. Did you do Kaplan? I found it's really helpful. Try to relax on the day of the exam. Anxiety is your worst enemy on the test day.

My first take I took Kaplan and I agree it was very good so I even tried it my second take along with Saunders, some Hurst, Exam Cram. Mostly questions. All my scores were around 50% above to low 60's. The thing is I didn't have trouble answering on NCLEX. Anxiety was great but what happened.
Thank you so much. I hope it does happen for a good reason. I just keep thinking maybe I didn't pass cause I wasn't ready for what it came with, I don't know but I've got nothing left. I just don't know what to do anymore, financially I've got no way to take the exam again. I don't want to give up just yet though..

Got you're message. You're more than welcome. Wanted to post here and hope its ok.
Crying helps cleanse the soul. A beautiful human soul / spirit such as yours. Keep trying because your future as a Nurse is waiting on you. It won't desert you; it'll just remain there in the distance waiting for you to grab and embrace it. Remember, NOT one individual can take that gift away from you because it's a gift from God.
Every morning when you awake, God wipes the slate clean from ALL of your sins (mine too) and says, "Good morning my good and faithful servant. I AM here to guide and help you today?" Trust and have faith. He gives us soooo many second, third, and hundreds of opportunities to do it over, and over, and over until we get it correct. Your opportunity awaits you for as many times as you need with no judgement from Him. How AWESOME! Always remember, INDIVIDUALS opinions or judgement of you are null and void. Live your wonderful life, go defeat that NCLEX exam, and show the world what you've got to offer.......excellent, skilled, safe, professional, ethical, and knowledgeable Nursing care.
Many, many, many blessings and have a SPECTACULAR day. Today is a new day. :)

Don't be discouraged. I know when I was studying and doing practice questions my weakness was the lack of patience to read the answer options thoroughly and that's how I missed the questions. During the exam I fixed this and read everything slowly making sure I never missed anything because sometimes the question is a positive style and sometimes it's negative style. So I really needed to understand what it is asking. While taking my nclex I had already used 1 hour and was only in number 25. Let me tell you, boy was I stressed. But I had to keep composure or else I will be anxious and forget everything I learnt. I finished in 2 hours, 75 questions with at least 20 SATA. I found out yesterday that I passed through Pearson vue and today through BON. Honestly, the best advice I could give to you is to try to remain calm and decrease anxiety. When answering SATA use true or false, it is the only way I could use that didn't confuse me. I studied for 2 weeks and I graduated in May. Took Nclex July 8. I used PrepU and got all the way to mastery level 8 for all client needs which I thought was very helpful, thy had a lot of hard questions that involved practice SATAs and the program is adaptive to your strengths and weakness. I also used HURST , this is amazing. Do the study guide. Honestly I can't afford $300 reviews. I got mine for free and printed the pages at UPS or at my college. PDA by la charity and read the Kaplan strategies book 2013-2014. I saved the Kaplan CD from the book 2 days before the exam, it was 180 questions and it says recommended score was >70. If you need any review cds let me know, i can try to see if i can help. On the last day, I never looked at anything except to memorize lab values. I went to the lake and drove to the testing center to make sure I know where it is for the next morning. I grabbed Jamba Juice and watched a very good movie. Sleep! You need to rejuvenate, your brain cells functions optimal when you rest your mind some. Try not to drink for awhile, it's a depressant. B-complex and vitamin C! Good luck, your only enemy is stress and fear. Don't let a test define you from achieving your goal. If you want it hard enough eventually you will get there!! It doesn't matter how long it takes, there is nothing on the license that states how many times or how many questions it took you to be an RN. So just get back up there and show everyone that you can do it!! I've got faith that you can. Never give up.
