I was wondering if anybody had any thoughts or reccommendations on joining associations, or groups etc as a new graduate nurse. My teachers had mentioned ANA, I looked into it, but there are so many different memberships etc. Thanks for your help!

If you're a new graduate you can take advantage of a discounted membership your first year.

Some state nursing associations are no longer affiliated with ANA so if you live in such a state, you will not automatically be an ANA member if you join your state nursing association. In those states, you can join the ANA without belonging to the state association.
