Hello all,
I just wanted to see what others thought...some of my school friends think I am overdoing it. I have read posts of advice saying don't overstudy or cram and I get that.
So...I have studied for one week now. I study every day, anywhere from 4 hours to 8 hours. I am not a study zombie though; I always incorporate meals away from computer, exercise and good sleeping hours. I have three more weeks to study before my exam and I have a lot to cover. Maternity and peds are my weaknesses. I am taking Kaplan on line and scored 67% on my diagnostic test. Qbank tests aren't getting that high so I am reviewing material in Saunders (the Kaplan book is awful in my humble opinion!). I do anywhere from 75-200 questions a day and review all of my questions, right or wrong.
Given all this information, do you think daily study like I am doing is too much? I really am still enjoying my life some but I am just being disciplined. Some of my nursing friends think I am being a little crazy. I can't really ask my friends or family who haven't had this experience so any thoughts are appreciated

I would say 75-200 questions per day are a good amount, but I doubt that I would study for eight hours each day. Four to six hours daily should be sufficient to keep mental fatigue from interfering. Good luck.
