I'm scheduled to take my state boards next Wednesday (Jan 11th) and I just don't feel prepared. I've been using Saunder's Comprehensive review for NCLEX PN and I took the comprehensive test they have in there this morning and a got a 72%. I've been told you should average about 80% when doing questions and tests. I've been doing about 100-150 questions a day...equaling to about 1400-1500 questions total so far. I'm thinking I should change the date but have been told to take is as soon as possible. Am I doing something wrong for preparing or what? Help please!!

Do you have the CD also? If you can take the tests on the CD on all the topics and make anywhere from 70 - 100% on all the topics you should do fine on the NCLEX That's what I did for both the NCLEX PN and RN and passed both with the minimum number of questions.
BEST OF LUCK,

Yes I have the CD. That's a lot of questions to get through til Wednesday. Each exam has 100 questions. Maybe if I did 2 sections at a time...that would be 50 questions for each section.
If you are short on time, do the quizzes for each section. If you get less than 70 on the quizzes then you better do the test or study mode for each section.
Best of luck :)

I did the Saunders CD and i didnt do the exams. Idid the study sections because each exam gives you 100 questions. But the study section gives you all of the questions for that particular sectrion. Some have 4oo and some and some have less than 100 but it is very helpful and that way u get a full range rather than a selected 100 questions.
