Hey..i know this post was from April but I was just wondering if you got in or not??? I am applying for Fall 2010 and was wondering what a competitive GPA would be?? Do you have any other advice when it comes to applying?

yea im interested in these statistics too...i cant decide if i should apply to the BSN express program or just stick to the alternate sequence (or both!) if i do the bsn express ill still have to take a&p II, chem and pathophsyiology all in the spring...
sorry i havent been on this thing all summer! but yes i got in. i actually just sent in my transcripts for a prelim. review with intentions on doing the alternate sequence. but they offered me to apply for either (which seems to be the case for many ppl from what ive read on here) so i e-mailed them back letting them know i would glady do either program, whichever i could get into bc i wasnt sure which one was more competitive, so i wanted to make sure i had a shot.. but that i did prefer the alternate sequence and thats the program i got into. i graduated with a 3.2.. i had a's and b's in my prereques. hope this helps!

For those of you doing the Villanova Alternate Sequence, how do you plan on paying for it? Two years and a summer session at Villanova costs upwards $80,000. With cost of housing and food, I'd probably be looking at +$100,000 of debt after the two year program. I plan on pursuing a master's after getting a BSN, but with that kind of debt I don't think I'd be able to afford it.
How is everyone else paying for the program?
