Hello all!
Spring is here and my seasonal allergies are out in full force. What over the counter allergy medications are safe while drug testing?
Thanks all!

Allegra and Zyrtec. No -D stuff, no benadryl, none of the night time stuff with etoh in it. The vast majority of nasal sprays and vapor rubs can also cause false positives.

Make sure it does NOT have phenylephrine in it. Even some nose spray have that. Some Allegra and Zyrtec contain that so just be careful. I hate this program.
Phenylephrine is in Sudafed. Allegra and Zyrtec come in very obvious -D combinations that contain pseudoephedrine which is also obviously a no-go.
I hate this program too!

Wow - I had no idea (Naïve Nancy here). Very valuable info.

The only things I could use while in the program were prescription Zyrtec and Claritin w/o the D.
I also found a Neil rinse saline irrigation system very helpful and much cheaper than the meds.
