Anyone successful complete lpn to RN through allegany college or in the nursing program how do you view your experience.

Is there anyone that has completed the entire program? I would love your insight.
@MoM23LVN I'm sorry you're having such a hard time. What do you find to be difficult? Hoping you pull through and get the points you need! Please give us newbies some insight on the program.
I am in the online class. We do not get recorded lectures. We are provided with power points with a voice over and some additional notes. The online course is basically self taught. Some weeks we are provided with Simple Nursing added notes. It is important to stay on top of your work. If you fall behind it is hard to catch back up.
As far as the program...it's doable. I work full time M-F and have a busy family. I find myself studying late at night and on the weekends. The school is not good at communicating when it comes to clinicals (personal opinion). The most important thing I could say is you HAVE to understand the "why" behind all medical conditions. You are not taught the pathophysiology...so this is SUPER important to understand. This is where I disagree with how we are provided our information. A power point is not teaching.
ALSO...they preach about doing 75-125 NCLEX style questions daily! This may be a game changer to newly enrolled students. It was only "told" or "suggested"....if they would be more forceful about it I think I would have done more of those, just hard to fit in the time.

Do you have to wear all white scrubs that obviously make you stand out as a nursing student?
