Alameda Health System New Grad RN Program Fall 2024

Hi everyone! Just wanted to start this thread for everyone applying to the AHS Fall '24 new grad cohort so we can get to know each other and share updates. I just applied for obstetrics and received an email back with supplemental questions yesterday. I'm an external candidate but have always wanted to work at Highland so hope it works out! Good luck everybody, we got this!💗

also- what does your status say? Mine says "active applicant" not sure if it changes once you are selected for an interview.

I also got an email about scheduling an interview for next week! If anyone knows what kinds of question they'll ask, please let me know. It would be very much appreciated!

I'm internal. My app status is still active applicant, so I don't think it changes. Someone else I know got am email a few hours after me, so they are definitely still coming!

I responded relatively quickly and they confirmed a time little over an hour after original email was sent.

What units emailed ppl about interviews? Or is it only highland hospital?

Hi there, I got two emails for psych for supplemental questions and one phone call for all the other units.  But it seems to me that some people are getting supplemental questions via email for Obstetrics as well. As for what hospital, they didn't specify.

Thank you, I appreciate it! Hoping they're still going through applications. Some of mine still say new applicant while others say active applicant. Do you know if this is the last week to receive a phone call for an interview? From the fb page, I hear so many various things like apps are open until next week but some ppl are getting interviews already.

Are you also an internal employee? I got supplemental questions for psych also and my application still shows active. Im wondering if this week is for internal employee interviews and after they fill some positions, the rest will go to external applicants.

From my phone call earlier today, it seems to me that they're still going through applications til this Friday. I don't think they're going to keep applications open until next week though because the days for interview are on mon, tues, and wed.
