University of South Alabama Accelerated program for spring 2012

U.S.A. Alabama

Published

Has anyone applied to South Alabama's accelerated program to start Spring 2012? If so, have you heard anything or know when we will be notified of our interview and/or acceptance? Will this come via mail, email or telephone?

I don't think the resume was required. I did not turn one in. But there was a $50 application fee that was required with the application. You could call them and ask if it is too late to send them a check.

i turned a resume in as well as the check

a resume is not required for undergrad

Specializes in Education, FP, LNC, Forensics, ED, OB.

remember tos:

  1. please do not give out personal information about others. do not name names where anyone could identify the person in any facility including your nursing programs.

thanks.

:)

I keep reading bad things about USA and their nursing program. Has anyone talked to anyone who has completed the accelerated track or currently in the track for some feedback?

Has anyone been awarded financial aid yet or do we have to be accepted into the program first

Applications have still not gone to the admissions committee for review.....how much longer?

Has anyone called the school and asked when letters would be sent out. I was told we would know 4-6 weeks after the application deadline and it has been almost 6 weeks...

I called and the committee hasn't even looked at our applications yet

.

Ok thank you! Did you apply to the ABSN/MSN program?

yes. the wait is so stressful

I've applied as well to the accelerated program for Spring 2012. I'm curious to know what kind of bachelor's degrees everyone has. My undergrad is in Psychology and I'm a little worried. I have heard that the most successful students out of this accelerated track are the ones with previous experience in the medical field (I have none) and/or undergrad degrees such as biomedical sciences, biology, etc.
