JeffState program

I have been looking at the schedule for the ASN program at JeffState. After completing all the prerequisites to get into the program, do you have only a few classes each semester? I already have my other Associate Degree classes completed. I was thinking about taking an extra class each semester to get ready for an RN to BSN program. Does anyone think this is a good idea?

I am n the part-time program and we take about two classes per semester with the exception of 2nd and I think 5th semester we take only 1. The full-time is different I believe it's 3 classes per semester and sometimes 2 classes. But me personally I only have 3 classes left to complete before doing the RN-BSN but Im not even thinking about those until I am finished with the program. Nursing classes are stressful enough and very time consuming. So I wouldn't add any other classes in addition to nursing classes if I didn't have to. But everyone is different and you know how much you can handle. But I wouldn't make that decision until after your first semester of nursing.

you won't be able to they change things around so much like for the next 2 weeks we have class all week you may be considered a part time student but you will have more than a full-time load

I am taking classes now that will meet the rn-bsn program while i wait for entrance into the nursing program.. If you take the AA Nursing and you'll notice that the cores for the BSN at jacksonville state can be fullfilled as part of your AA req.

I wont get them all done but when I do get into the NURSING classes.. hopefully this fall.. Im ONLY doing NURSING classes.. as little as I can. I have NO IDEA how people do multiple classes.
