Ugh...Has anyone ever transferred, or I guess it is really not transferring but obtaining an AL license by endorsement?
When I talked to ABN I understood that for the temp permit, I needed only to send in a notarized copy of my FLA license, which I did. Now I get a letter in the mail that says I need to send CEU's, License Verification from nursys.com (another 30 bux!) and school transcripts! I call the ABN and the phone rings and rings and rings.
Meanwhile, I have two potential employers waiting to hear if I will accept their offers!
This is soooo frustrating. Forget the devil---by the time I get my AL license, the Board of Nursing will own my soul along with all the other requirements!

Yes, you must supply them with #1 CEU verification (24 hours), #2 verification of Florida licensure, #3 an official transcript from your school of nursing. Temp license you must give them a notorized copy of your Florida license (which you did).
So call your school of nursing and have transcripts sent directly to the ABN (the board will not take them from you). Get your CEU certificates and mail them copies as well or you can fax the CEU's to them at 334-242-0541.
Good luck.

Yes, the temp permit should be sent to you after they receive the notorized licensure info and they process the info. Then you have time to get all of the other requirements together to get a perm. license.
Glad I could help. :yelclap:
