airflow policy in the surgical suite

baker baker (New) New

I am trying to find out if any of you guys have an airflow policy for the OR, clean room, and decontamination room. I just started working at an outpatient surgery center and need to write a policy that wont be challenged by inspectors.

yes, I worked at a hospital over 10 years, there the policy is that all doors to clean entries are kept closed and all rooms to OR rooms are closed during cases. Unfortunately, they have a manager with a mental health problem and he has an obsessive-compulsive problem. He washes his hands several times a day and cannot do cases, he needs doors open cause he won t touch them. IRONIC eh?

They look the other way all the time, it's frustrating.
