I swear, it's a conspiracy. I knew I shoulda picked up a roll of tin-foil when I left home this morning. Today was Beach Day at my school and for those who can't imagine, its a day when the kids do nothing but play all day. They bring in multiple water inflatables and frolic in the water, get sick on snow cones, fall on the pavement, hit each other in the head with swings, and pee in their pants. And to make matters worse, my clinic is directly across from the gym where they served up popcorn and DANCING. Yes, folks, they made a CD re-mix of about 12 songs that they played in a continuous loop all day. Songs like "Achy-Breaky Heart", "YMCA", "Macarena", "Ole! Ole! Ole! Ole!" and the always lovely Frank Sinatra singing "New York, New York." After 6 hours of that CD I have officially gone around the bend. :clown:

On the other hand, I have only 3 more days left...

Makes me glad I work in High School instead of Elementary. Hang in there-you'll make it till summer!

Yeah, I must admit that elementary school is much more laid back and friendlier(IMO) than older grades. My last gig was at a very difficult middle school. We had Bring Your Favorite Lethal Weapon To School Day and Beat The Crap Out Of A Minority Kid Half Your Size Day.:uhoh3:

My grade schoolers all go to the high school for one big field day. I love it. The high school nurse gets all the bumps, bruises, up-chuckers, etc.

On the other hand, my 5th graders had career day recently. No fewer than 3 fainters, all from the nurse's presentation. Why didn't she just stop talking and start demonstrating first-aid?

I have to say the OP made me laugh. What a perfect visual image, LOL!
