I am 25 and just got accepted. I actually have no idea how what the ratio is, but I will find out in 3 weeks when my Orientation is.

My boyfriend is 46 y/o and will be 47 y/o when he finishes his LPN course. In his class of 24, there are 2 other guys. One is in his mid-30's, and the other is maybe 40. This will be a third career for him - he was a bricklayer for 23 years and was in the Army before that. He plans on doing a LPN-BSN program while working as a LPN.

Sharon (yes, I'm lurking in the guys forum...)

I'm 25 and starting my absn program in May.

I will have to leave working on a boat on the great barrier reef for a classroom in Denver... I hope I'm making the right decision.....

Well the view out the window is not going to be as beautiful....but something made you decide to become a nurse, remember what those reasons are if you start to doubt your decision.

Congrats on getting into the program! :yeah:

The other guys in our program at different levels are all in their early 20's. We had one guy who was 42 but he lasted 3 weeks.

I'm 37 and was just accepted into a nursing program. Hopefully if I make it will be 40 when I graduate. I wonder why he only lasted 3 weeks?
