Hi, I just got accepted for agency nursing. I've never done it before. I'm planning to work 8 hr shifts 3-4x/wk. I see that most of the agency jobs in Williamson County are at LTC's.
Could you please give me any pointers or advice in starting out in agency and what to expect especially in Williamson and Davidson Counties?
i would really appreciate input.

Sorry for this late reply, but I am curious which agency you choose to work with?
I currently work with Parallon/Healthtrust and the pay is good but we have to do 12 hour shifts at the HCA hospitals. I have been with them for 3 years now and for the most part its ok, but I find myself never wanting to go because I dont no what I will encounter when I go into work.
The best I can tell you is to find a facility that you enjoy and stick with it. Alot of times you can call them and ask if they have needs and then call the agency to confirm, this helps cut down on them canceling you.
hope this helps
