After 6 years, I am now determined to get back on my feet

Published

Hello! to summarize my story, i graduated back in 2007. I know it has been a while. I took the nclex twice and failed. Honestly, I lost the drive to study when I failed, and not only that, I felt a huge disappointment in myself, and somehow I don't feel confident anymore. My classmates are already licensed nurses, and at times I felt sad that i am still on the process of getting my license. Sometimes I ask myself, is really nursing for me? If so, why can't I pass nclex? It feels like I already forgotten the things i learned in school. I am currently working (and yes, I can't quit my job to study full time because I have bills pay), so I just have to make the best of it in this kind of situation. I know balancing work and making time to study will be a huge task for me, but I am looking forward to moving on and starting fresh. which means I have to study the basics, if it means going back and starting from vital signs to ana/physio then by all means.

To end this post, are there anyone who is interested in doing like an online study session? I have talked to some people here on allnurses ,and since we all live far from each other we though of discussing rationales through skype, or if you have any better ideas let me know :)
