and then... look forward to my 1st RN check, which I know I will be "busting' my butt off for from day 1 on the job.

Pat myself on the back. Make all the necessary phone calls. And then I will party!!!!!

My second attemp at the NCLEX will yield different results from the first. Come hell or high water, I will be prepared!!!! This is by far the most diffecult test I have ever encountered. I know I am a smart youn lady and the first attempt does accurately reflect the good nurse that I know I am. I am ready to get this over with and focus on my career.

really i am going to read the new harry potter book and not have any study worries

Step out of the darkness and into the light. It's over, time to apply all that knowlege, and really get down to the reality of nursing! :balloons: I believe there is a beach chair with my name on it too for a few hours!!

After I pass NCLEX I plan to rent a van to load up a car load of things to move, hitch my car and load my kitties and drive to Texas to begin training as an Army Nurse, hooah!

Then I'm going to get rid of all my study stuff and get a pile of books together to give away. I already had a drink oops! :wink2:

and last but not least....spend quality time with my daughter:loveya:

I am goingto hit the library and blockbuser. Watch movies and read novels till i rop. I've been meaning to read all the Harry Potter books from the beginning since i've watched almost all the movies.

I just got my results Tues and I passed :)

I've been waiting for that moment for soooo long and funny thing is, that once it happened, I was happy (obviously) but then realized that aside from not having to worry anymore, that I really didnt feel much different.

SO far, this week,

  • I called or emailed all my friends and family who had been anxiously waiting.
  • I also started packing up my desk because this is my last week at my current job and I start my nursing job Monday.
  • I packed up my old books to sell or give away and the books that my neighbor loaned me that I can now return and get out of my house.
  • I have more thank you cards to make tonight...
  • I am hoping to actually relax this weekend without stress... although I AM starting a new job Monday--I think I will be stressed a bit longer

Well congrats to all who passed and to those who didnt yet--never give up, you've made it this far(that's a BIG accomplishment)-keep the faith!
