I am the husband of a nurse here in Canada.

My wife just got back from Ghana where she did missionary work through our church.

She fell in love with the experience and wants to go over for a more extended period.

Does anyone know of a company or agency that deals with this type of request?

She is interested in working with children/orphans infected with aids or some type of aids prevention program.

I just thought that this forum might be her best bet!

doctors without borders is the first thing that comes to mind, though i have heard that sometimes they are not so well received by host countries.

she's looking to work for pay ie WHO or some other org.
