  1. Hi, I am an RN in Seattle. I'm interested in getting some new skills. I'm currently an ICU nurse, but I'd like to get training on botox, fillers and so forth. Any suggestions on where to get training in Seattle? For those of you in the field, how do you like it and how is the pay?

Hi Sarah, first you need to check with your State licensing boards. In some States you need an Aesthetic license (Board of Cosmetology) to be covered for Aesthetic practices. Do not assume your nursing
degree and nursing insurance will cover liability issues. Your State may not require the Aesthetics
license, but I suggest checking with your nursing insurance agent to see if you need additional coverage for the aesthetic services you intend to offer.

Best wishes on your training and new career!
