I need some advise. I am currently going to a juinor college to pursue my dream of becoming a nurse. About 8 years ago, I was arrested for domestic violence. I spent three days and was released. I was also put into the hospital, around the same time and after a three day hold, was also released. I have not been in any situations since. My marriage is much better. Since this happened along time ago, could i still become a nurse? Please advise.

You should direct your question to the California Board of Nursing. They would have the answer you need.

Great suggestion!! However, I would find out what type of criminal activity or record would prevent you from becoming a nurse AND getting a job to work as a nurse.

If you were not convicted of anything then there should be no problem.
