advise on CRNA nursing track??

There is no reason to go through the schooling for FNP if you want to be a CRNA. For one thing, you can't work during a CRNA program anyway. For another, you can't just 'get your FNP license,' that is a master's program, too. Start working in an ICU while you get your bachelor's so you can start paying off loans. Stay for a couple years until you are really comfortable. There is no rush to jump right into CRNA school, especially if you are worried about loans. You will most likely have to take out loans to cover school and living expenses unless you are independently wealthy.

I will be starting my RN Program next week -yay- Very excited. I am curious though about my future and where I want to take my education. The CRNA program interests me A LOT however I would like some suggestions for my current situation....
1) graduate school and begin working at hospital and while working attend USF's BSN program
I also need to start I guess paying my student loans
work in the critical care unit for one year
should I apply to the CRNA program then?? or get my FNP license and work as an FNP while in the CRNA program- it would kill me not to work for another 2 year program with loans- or just do the CRNA program for 2 years and take out the loans to cover living expenses????

The ICU time is mandatory so that will help you. The FNP will not help you to get into CRNA school at all, actually it may hinder you since they want recent bedside critical care experience. Also you will NOT be able to work while in CRNA school. Even though some folks say its possible to work a small amount most programs frown upon it.
