I am still in semester one and doing my first care plan soon..... and my goodness, how time-consuming and tedious it is in the details!
But this is my first one and i'm probably going to make mistakes........
May I please ask for your tips advice and what to watch out for when doing these care plans? What mistakes did you make and tips for improvement?
How to increase efficiency and speed?
What mistakes to look out for?
Also, any tips on saving time with these? I know you just have to invest in the 8+ hours for some of these but saving even a small amount of time or increasing efficiency is still great in my book.
Thanks!

At the top of your screen in the yellow bar, there is a magnifying glass. Clicking on the magnifying glass will open a search bar. If you enter "nursing care plan" and Esme or GrnTea in the bar, you will find a wealth of information about care plans. Esme and GrnTea are experienced nurses who frequently post to questions about nursing care plans with a lot of excellent advice.

:thankya: Thanks for the kind words, Rose_Queen, and I am sure I speak for my friend and colleague Esme too.
But you know what? She's right. :)
OP, read our posts and buy the book. That will save you enormous time and get you thinking like a nurse so much sooner.
GrnTea,
thank you for your post! I just started writing careplans and........... i'm a nervous wreck. I am a first semester beginning student with no experience and barely any knowledge to do a full careplan (or rather, a good one at that!)
To be more specific, can I please ask what book you are talking about?
I'm extremely nervous/anxious about it (especially clinicals). Thank you so much!
