hi, i was thinking of getting into a nursing career, my question is that i dont think i could handle most of the gross stuff. which type of nurses do not have to deal with this, and what is a description of the job, please email me at [email protected]

Hi there. I can think of several areas of nursing that probably don't have to see too much of the "gross" stuff. Community health nursing would be one area and possibly psychiatric nursing as well. You'll have to deal with it all though as you go through your clinical rotations. Don't be too discourage though. I felt the same way at first, but as you learn more and more about anatomy and physiology it quits being "gross" stuff and becomes more interesting than that. Good luck to you and God bless.
