i would like to ask any of you. (who will read this thread)

among the 50 usa states....

.which state is not strict with nclex process requirements :confused: ????
i admit ,this isn't my first take so i have pending one from vermont but due to unresolved circumstances i can't continue my application there and my application from ca leads me to nothing for they keep asking a lot of requirements which i guess,most applicants know already about it..and that i can't or my school can't provide those papers

pls i need a direct answer to this..for i am catching up some time frame,so i'm here to ask an immediate response.

try washington state :), iam not sure what issues you have with other states but i know that they do not have a limit on how many times you can retake.... with ga, you have to test within 3 yrs of graduation

do you have a valid s/s# now? this is now a major item needed and this will help with a good portion of your research.

as you know or maybe not, there are some states now that even before they look at your educational background, you need to submit the application with your s/s# to even start the process or will start it only to find your background is deficient in hours and or has concurrency issues.

then, there are states that allows you to apply without a s/s#, allow you take the nclex, only to find that they will issue you the rn license, upon submitting your s/s#.

i know this is not what you want to hear for now, but a little bit more information might be helpful.

you already know that ca and vt is out of the picture, are there some particular states that you are more interested, some that you will not prefer to work in (too cold, too hot, too far from family etc)?

eliminate those you will not work in and narrow down your search and maybe others can help out if they are already in that state.

Only direct information you are going to find is the BON websites or contacting the actual BON. Remember you if you trained outside the US have to prove your training matches the US training which for most if not all requires a copy of your transcripts

My overseas friend that I have been trying to help get her ATT, just sent me this e-mail, not sure where she got it (see below large bold headings). She also heard from another friend (yes, I know, it's only rumors) that has been doing some fact finding mission that more and more states are going to require a SSN not only in the very application process part but also for all license renewals, even in those states that didn't require them before.

She said that it's possible there could be a federal law making all states with the SSN requirement a standard practice. Such a federal law would make every states comply with that requirement if it does happen. She said that some states are already making the SSN changes now or very soon.

VERMONT BON (May 15, 2012) requires SSN effective May 15, 2012

MARYLAND BON (January 27, 2012) requires SSN effective January 27, 2012

ARKANSAS BON(June 2011): is requiring SSN for license renewal

MISSISSIPPI (July 2010): Now requires SSN in order to Apply

ARIZONA (February 2010): Requires proof of Citizenship or Legal Residency in order to Apply

CALIFORNIA (April 2010): Now requires SSN in order to Apply

MISSOURI (June 2010): Joins Compact States

VERMONT (2009): Requires CES

SOME STATES: Changes CGFNS-CP Requirement to CES

NEW MEXICO (February 2008): Requires CES

THANK YOU! i totally forgot about my post,,coz i wasn't able to complete the requirement and I'm due with the deadline....but I'm still looking forward to continue my application when all things are settled!

Do you have a valid S/S# now? This is now a major item needed and this will help with a good portion of your research.

You already know that CA and VT is out of the picture, are there some particular states that you are more interested, some that you will not prefer to work in (too cold, too hot, too far from family etc)?

my issue is not about the SSN (I have) nor the weather..its more of the requirements that BON asked for applicants,,this happen to CA this year were they formatted their requirements due to some false documentation of some applicant from Philippines..

Im looking for state that are not strict with the requirements.

The issue to me is each state will have their own requirements, CES is what most states require. If you plan on endorsing to CA after passing NCLEX and issued a license in another state then the issues re concurrent cases will still be their as CA do their own assessment
