I need help in filling out form 157a. Would really appreciate an answer. There's a question on item no. 31. When do you intend to depart Australia after completeing your course? Would it be fine if ill put a date 3 mos or 6 mos post course? Would that be acceptable? Or i should i date it right after graduation? Next is item 41. Have you offerred a job when you return home at the completion of yiur course? My answer here is No and the follow up question is What kind of employment will you be seeking on your return to your home country? Can i answer hospital nurse or something like that? 54. Do you, or any other person included in this application, intend to enter a hospital or a health care facility (including nursing home) while in Australia? I answered YES, since its a part of the course to have a hospital placement or rle, right? 55. Do you, or any other person included in this application intend to work as, or study to be, a doctor, dentist, nurse or paramedic during your stay in Australia? Again my answer is YES. Kindly help with this one. Are my answers correct? Thank you so much in advance.

I AM NOT AGAINST --- Philman --- but they have loads of applicant already. I am basing this on my friend's application. They weren't able to update him on what's happening with his application for months so he decided to leave.

IF YOU can do the application on your own much better there are helpful tips here just be patient on reading all of them. You can save a lot of money. If you are in doubt (like me) who would rather seek help and be confident that someone is doing all this things for you then feel free to find an agency. There are plenty of nurses in the Philippines who are not well-endowed with finances (like me) so they seek the help of agencies with in-house financing. One of the "PROS" in seeking an agency's help is that you will meet fellow nurses just like you. You have companion to ride the plane with you and share a flat with you while you go and already in Australia beats being alone isn't it.

This is just a suggestion and I am not advertising it (well now it looks like I am advertising it), and it is a fairly new agency as well, AUSTRALIAN NURSING REQUIREMENT, INC. --- they have a website and they will tell you everything you need to know attend one of their scheduled seminar (there is no harm in trying and it is free). The CEO of this company has an office in Australia near an APHRA office.

I just want all my fellow nurses to know that there are other choices out there and may be a better choice...PEACE!!!!

Are you also an applicant for student visa? Have you already lodge your visa application?

if i got my eligibility letter from aphra i will lodge a 456 visa which is the recommended visa if you are taking the bridging program (bp) in australia...this is the recommended visa for student engaging in a course less than 6 mos as stated in www.immi.gov.au.

i don't think they call it as a student visa -- it is called business (short stay) visa...you said you are having a hard time filling out form 157a...that's the student (temporary) visa isn't it??

what course are you taking anyway? are you taking up the bridging program as well??

What COURSE are you taking anyway? Are you taking up the Bridging Program as well??

Bachelor of Nursing for a year. Yes, student( temporary) visa.
