Advice needed from new grads about grad school right after undergrad!!

Published

Hello all, I would really appreciate advice from new grads or anyone that as gone straight to grad school after undergrad. I am going into my final year of nursing school and I am trying to decide if I should work part time as a new grad and also work on my masters. I am so use to being in school that I don't know how easy it would be for me to work and then go back to school in a few years. I would like to do the MSN/Certified Nurse Midwife Program that many schools offer. I would really appreciate ANY advice that you have. Thanks!

I think you need to work as a nurse before you can become a midwife...at least for a few years.

It may depend on the school you want to attend. Some of them have a requirement that you work in the field for a specified period of time prior to starting your program.

That said, I would not wait too long, the longer you wait the harder it can be to get going again! Best of luck to you!
