I have finish my LVN in an adult school & just recently took my NCLEX on 9/28 ( still waiting for results ). I'm here at California. I'm already 23 years old and never attended community college. Is there a chance for me to go apply at a CSU to start as undergraduate ? Cal State Long Beach or Fullerton? or an adult school considered as a college education and I have to go to a community college to continue?
I do not want to waste my time taking the SAT and do the applications for CSU knowing that I cannot apply afterall. Please enlighten me! this is my first-time posting here at allnurses.
What good LVN to ADN or LVN to BSN programs around California.
Thanks fellow nurses!

You can apply as a regular student and then once your prereqs to nursing are done, you apply to the nursing program. This is how the cal state universities work. By law the also have to offer a 30 unit option to go from LVN to RN, but this program does not result in an ADN, nor can you get into the cal state BSN programs with it, additionally other states may or may not accept it.
I'm attending a community college LVN to RN program currently. After that, I'll bridge to a BSN program.
