So I am a prospective NP and I have heard not once but many times in fact, that being male has a lot of advantages in the nursing profession.
I have been told that male NP's make more money (obviously this is relative)
I have been told that getting jobs and getting into schools in general is not as difficult because I am a guy, due the the profession being gender dominated.
And I have also heard that there are more financial and scholarship
opportunities available to me (more for men going into nursing).
Is this really true? Hmmmm
Any male np's out there care to share?
