Hi- My husband and I are thinking of moving NC. Is it difficulty to get a job with and ADN? I have 8 years of experience. Thanks!

Depends on the area but yes there is a push for BSN with other national certification

In eastern NC I don't think you would have any trouble at all getting a job. I am sure most places would prefer a BSN over an ADN, but at this point, at least in this area, you shouldn't have a problem getting hired since you have the experience you do. Good luck!

Its oversaturated with nurses here. The schools are spitting them out left and right. There's work, but mostly the stuff nobody wants or the low paying jobs. Not trying to discourage you, just saying it like it is. Many places, you need to know someone to get in.
