Hi, I went to an ADN program and got my BSN through a bridge program. I'm interested in CRNA but many programs require patho or pharmacology. I have obviously learned these topics in my ADN program but my (and all the other ADN programs around me) don't have a course strictly dedicated to "patho" or pharm". Rather, I had only 2 classes a quarter, one theory class and one clinical class. The theory class was where we encapsulated many subjects--including patho and pharm--in one class.

ALSO, some programs also require "health assessment". My program also didn't offer that specific class...

I'm assuming crna programs aren't going to accommodate for my circumstances, so I was wondering if they would be fine if I took a took regular intro to pharm and patho classes at a local community college? And I don't even know where I could take health assessment...

Any thoughts??

Thanks!

Look around, there are plenty of programs that don’t require specific courses in patho or pharm as prerequisites.
