Admission/Acceptance to Georgia Regents/Georgia Health Sciences

Hello! I just joined and couldn't find any other thread that had anything about admission stats or anything for Georgia Regents (formerly Georgia Health Sciences) and I am so nervous about getting into the BSN program, I applied with my first choice in Athens, and second as Augusta.. I have a 3.7 and got an 86 on the TEAS V and was wondering if anyone knew if that was competitive or what your stats were?!

I have received a deposit receipt, but I still cannot find my name in the online directory eGuide. I do not know how to access PULSE without my ID. Does anyone know how to fix this?

It took me a week and a half from submitting my acceptance contract which is what they are waiting on. They are in the midst of moving so it may be a few more days. You will not be able to access pulse though they are integrating our class to pounce and that will start in may. Hope this helps!

Does anyone know the start date of class? I thought it was like the 19th, but I saw that someone else thought it was another date.

When I spoke with admissions they told me class starts August 19. It feels like it's an eternity away!!

It took about a week and a half before my netID popped up as well. When I tried logging into outlook it didn't work at first. If you are a former ASU student, you have to use your old ASU id plus @gru.edu with the capital last name initial, social security number and exclamation point. S123121234! I still haven't been able to log into pulse. Hope this helps!

I sent my deposit about a week ago and they still haven't taken it out of my account. My 15 days is up in 2 days. :/

I have signed up for CPR at GTC and I am going Monday to get my labwork done. The labwork is going to cost a small fortune!

What is the type of CPR class we need to take? I couldn't find that. Is it BLS?

For the ladies--If you have gone and had a routine pap done and had them do a full STD check then they most likely did Hep B, Hep C, and HIV. I would check with any physicians that you have seen to see if they may have drawn any of these tests in the past. Even if they may have done one of the tests it would save you some money.
