Admission/Acceptance to Georgia Regents/Georgia Health Sciences

Published

Hello! I just joined and couldn't find any other thread that had anything about admission stats or anything for Georgia Regents (formerly Georgia Health Sciences) and I am so nervous about getting into the BSN program, I applied with my first choice in Athens, and second as Augusta.. I have a 3.7 and got an 86 on the TEAS V and was wondering if anyone knew if that was competitive or what your stats were?!

HELLPPPPPPP :nailbiting:

Your welcome! Hopefully we will get more information soon. I have a three year old and a six month old and need to start planning accordingly especially since he starts pre-k this year.

On a side note I saw the picture of your stethoscope. My husband wanted to get me mine for a gift but doesn't know if it has to be a certain color did you know anything about that?

As far as I know it doesn't. I have heard of many people buying a good quality stethoscope because the ones in the clinical packs are cheap. I didn't consider that they may not let me use a different color.

Yea I want the Littman Cardiology III I have heard nothing but good things about them.

That is what my husband bought. It is the same one that my mother-in-law uses in the hospital everyday as an ER physician! He had my name put on the bell and everything :)

I got my acceptance letter today! My status isn't change as of Friday but I got it today to the main campus!! Woo hoo!!

when did you turn your application in?

Specializes in ICU.
when did you turn your application in?

Before the February 15th deadline!

when did you turn your application in?

I think me and you are in the same boat. I'm still waiting on my status to change from "ready to review" to "Decision made." :/

Yes, I'm still waiting it still says "ready for review" but I also did not turn everything in until around March 10th

Super relieved. Found my shot records tonight! That should save some time.

And money!!!

Has anyone in Augusta signed up for a CPR class? If so, which one?

It is GruCONursing I am not positive if there is one for Athens.

I tried to find it, but I didn't see it.

The CPR class is basic life support for health care providers. I did the one at GHSU with Jana she's a great instructor.

The Facebook page is GRUCONURSING it'll have a profile picture of a glass looking building. Hope that helps
