Admission/Acceptance to Georgia Regents/Georgia Health Sciences

Published

Hello! I just joined and couldn't find any other thread that had anything about admission stats or anything for Georgia Regents (formerly Georgia Health Sciences) and I am so nervous about getting into the BSN program, I applied with my first choice in Athens, and second as Augusta.. I have a 3.7 and got an 86 on the TEAS V and was wondering if anyone knew if that was competitive or what your stats were?!

HELLPPPPPPP :nailbiting:

I got a "preliminary evaluation" letter.. did anyone else receive one of these?

You mean with your classes and GPA, both math and science and overall, on it? They send those out once they have all your transcripts.

Ugh!!! Knowing that a decision has been made and waiting on that envelope in the mail is agony right now. I can't wait for tomorrow when my schedule gets busier so that I am not just sitting around thinking about it. I never thought I would welcome the end of spring break lol.

Not to mention everyone on here has been so extremely quiet!

I just want to thank all of you for being such a tremendous support to each other! It definitely makes the torture more tolerable. I can't wait to meet all of you in the Fall 2013 BSN program :D :D

@hopeful77, the reason I turned down Brenau and Piedmont was because I could not afford the tuition; North Georgia because at the end of 2 years I want to have my BSN instead of just an associates. GRU is really the best choice for me as a single mother, without having to take out 50,000+ in student loans. That is why I wish they would let us know soon instead of stringing us all along further.

And I absolutely realize the riskiness of that decision!!! Regretting it to be honest....it's caused me more anxiety than I bargained for

I completely understand this, it is the very reason that I did not apply to Emory, and afterward I regretted it.

I am so hoping that it comes tomorrow! I agree with you all about the pricing. I got accepted to Emory and Mercer but I have not sent in my deposit for either yet. It is really tempting to call tomorrow if they don't get there but I won't do it lol!

I am trying not to think about it. I keep making myself crazy! I even read through the entire thread for Fall 2012 today LOL

Haha!! Did you find anything interesting?!

I saw where someone said that their status changed on a Thursday and they got their packet on Monday! :D :D Here is hoping the mailman or women is good to us today lol

Hoping to read exciting news for you guys! Good luck!

Thanks mygirlmontana!

Almostnurse25 I completely understand wanting a bsn coming out! I have had people ask me why don't I apply to one of those programs. I don't see the point of it if you already have an associates. I can understand the money situation also. If you have been accepted to 3 other programs I don't think you have anything to worry about! Obviously you have good stats! Good luck! I hope to meet you I'm the fall:)
