Hello! I just joined and couldn't find any other thread that had anything about admission stats or anything for Georgia Regents (formerly Georgia Health Sciences) and I am so nervous about getting into the BSN program, I applied with my first choice in Athens, and second as Augusta.. I have a 3.7 and got an 86 on the TEAS V and was wondering if anyone knew if that was competitive or what your stats were?!
HELLPPPPPPP
Since they're making decisions through May, I wonder how many statuses are changing per day. 5? 10?
They may not change daily. They may pick a few weekly. The admissions committee are probably professors also. I know the PA department committees are also professors. So they will probably send out letters weekly. I am sure they still have plenty of applications to still go through. Plus, none of us that had our status changed has received the letter so we don't know what kind of news it is yet :/
I have to say I have become really annoyed with GRU. I am regretting not accepting the 3 other offers I had before this ridiculous wait. It seems that they would have considered that alot of the best and brightest students don't want to keep waiting like this; it's been one extended wait after another. Two weeks ago they told us we would know by now. Here I am now, still waiting, now can't even check my application status, and if I don't get in I may be totally screwed. I get that they are consolidating, but that should mean that there are more heads in administration to go through the applications in a timely fashion.
In all fairness, Georgia state has yet to make decisions either. They are not the only school that has yet to make a decision. You turned down three other spots in other programs to go to GRU? That was risky...
The deadline wasn't until the 15th and they stated in the info sessions that they knew this put them behind but that they would make decisions as quickly as they could. We all have just accepted it.
I wish you the best of luck in whatever program you end up in!
