Im currently doing output HD in a clinic, and in a few weeks I will be starting acute hd in a hospital per diem.. looking for any advice or things i should be aware of ie; the differences between the 2 (other than the obv) , tips, areas i should touch up on etc. I have been a nurse for almost 3 yrs but only in HD a little more than 6mo. i have talked to some acutes nurses who say you learn a lot etc, but I'm looking for more specifics.

thank you!!

If no one responds go to Allnurses  Specialties.  There us a Dialysis/Renal/Urology section.
