Acute Care NP Preceptor

Hi, I am an AG-ACNP student and am looking for a preceptor. What site is the best at finding one? I have asked around and my school has found me one (in a trauma unit) but she only wants to offer me 90 hours due to my experience of 3 years as a nurse. She would rather me follow a hospitality. HELP

Local professional associations you can join as a student to network with NPs is the best, if your school doesn't provide preceptors.

What do you mean site? I’m I’m guessing a hospital. I agree, a Hospitalist (assuming that’s what you meant) position/rotation is far better than trauma for a ACNP student.
