An agency I was considering working with paid for a varicella titer. I got the lab test done and asked the agency for a copy for my records. They said no, that they paid for the test so I can't get a copy of the records.

The way I see it, this is my personal health information. I didn't sign any waiver requiring me to forego access to results prior to receiving the test and as far as I can see this was not mentioned in any other documents I did sign.

I have been poking around online trying to find more information, but unfortunately everything seems to be related to drug testing. Anyone know anything about this? Links to reputable sources would be really helpful, if you have them.

Thanks!!
