ACCELERATED BSN or take baby steps like

Published

:heartbeathi everyone,

i was wondering if anyone knows if an accelerated bsn for nursing is offered online. i was thinking to reapply at umdnj for the accelerated bsn program which starts in jan.2008 in newark. i was going to reapply to umdnj since i attended the first semester; but because of how expensive, and the fact that i was convinced to do the msn(more intensive) instead of what i initially wanted which was the bsn, i then received a c in 2 of the classes, which is not acceptable to the school as passing so i decided to not reapply.

but now i will like to get back into this program or i was thinking rutgers, in may of next year which is cheaper. the problem is, is that i wish i could attend either of these programs but will be giving birth approximately in mid feb or beg.march and will have a newborn to be concerned and care for. and this is why i'm trying to find another route.

i am 32 years old and feel the longer i wait the less opportunity i will have. i'm also wondering if anyone knows whether i could work at a hospital while i'm pregnant even though i don't have a nursing degree, where they could possibly pay for my future nursing degree education.

lastly, i forgot to mention i did deal with depression in my past but don't want to let this stop me. i just want to plan the best possible course of action for myself. my problem is my boyfriend or mother don't have any faith in me and feel all this education thus far has been just a waste. but i know there is a possible course of action i can take to better my financial situation and nursing can definitely pave the way.

:saint:oops, very last import. question i was just wondering if anyone has any ideas of the cheapest route but most efficent route, like maybe get an accelerated rn degree and then a hospital pay for my rn to bsn or will this take forever and be very expensive, any suggestions i appreciate it much!
